This is a clip of the best moments from Ghost Hunters. I’ve loved this show for a really long time, I have watched some of the others like Most Haunted and to be honest, I find their approach laughable, unimpressive and fake. From the highly dramatic English chic to the unbelievable, yet mildly entertaining psychics’, these shows are obviously out for ratings and the scare factor, hell bent on “proving” a haunting rather than disproving one. This is the reason I love Ghost Hunters so much. The TAPS team investigates various alleged haunting sites with the intent of “disproving” a haunting. They gather evidence through thermal imaging devices, cameras, video, as well as EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) work through digital recorders. I am an individual that relies on my own logic and instinct when dealing with forces outside of our scope of understanding. I believe anything is possible, but I usually do not believe anyone without seeing the proof myself. This clip is quite impressive, as it documents many of the hair raising evidence they have captured through the years. I myself am a believer. I think these guys are honest and legit. I highly recommend taking a look and watching the show to see for yourself…

I just read an article about a man who received a heart transplant from a 33 year old man who committed suicide by blowing his head off with a shotgun. The man that received the transplant contacted the family of the donor to thank them for giving him life. After some time the man ended up marrying the widow of the donor. 12 years later he shoots himself in the head with a shotgun, leaving the same widow a victim of suicide by the same means twice. Scientists say there are more than 70 documented cases of transplant patients having personality changes as they take on some of the characteristics of the donor. I just found this really interesting. I suppose the human body can house energy the same as other objects, who’s to say this energy can’t contain characteristics of a person or event…

So Im debating whether or not to try out the IE8 Beta. Ive read some conflicting reports, but the scariest being what some users have experienced…. The catch all phrase being “It hosed my system”. Im curious if IE8`s Web Standards friendly hype will be short lived or not. I do know that IE8 will now support CSS Tables, kinda cool… But the good people over at FF, as well as ALL of the other browsers already support CSS Tables. So the question is, will Internet Exploder 8 actually benefit any of us developers who struggle with the non Web Standards compliant pain in the @ss demon that is Internet Explorer. In all reality, Microsoft should have been adhering to these standards for a lot longer than they have made the attempt to… At any rate, I appreciate it non the less. Not that any of this matters at the moment, as testing in IE6 and 7 will be a necessary evil for at least a few more years. I have read some reviews of IE8 vs. FF3 beta`s… And the general consensus is…………… FireFox 3 is still far superior to IE8. What a shocker…..
